About

Architecture, Urban Design, Interior and Research

Multiply Office is a multidisciplinary architecture and design practice with roots in Switzerland. Working across architecture, urban design, Interior, and research, the studio operates across different scales and contexts, combining complementary know-how, international experience, local understanding, and tailor suit collaboration.

From design to completion, we
develop projects through research and dialogue, shaping the way people live and interact.

Across all scales, from territories and buildings to everyday objects, Multiply Office approaches each context without predefined solutions or the dogma of style.

Rather than imposing forms, we begin with critical observation and active listening. We explore the climate, human flows, local know-how and the life behind each project, alongside the client’s goals, budget and regulations, turning constraints into the active materials of design.

Every project builds on years of international experience while remaining an open field of discovery, driven by curiosity and rigorous craft. We make tools for life and exchange.

Precise, open-ended, climate-responsive and playful, our spaces and objects become allies in everyday life: places to gather and to talk, giving people the agency to shape their world.

Nicolas Moser, Founder and Architect

Nicolas Moser, founder and director of Multiply Office, is a Swiss architect who graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland (EPFL) in 2006.

In 2003, he joined Group8, a Geneva-based architectural practice. In 2007, he moved to Vietnam to establish the practice’s first international branch in Hanoi. Nicolas became a core member of the practice, which was subsequently renamed G8A Architects, and contributed to its development over nearly twenty years, gaining extensive experience in international architecture and urban projects across Singapore, Vietnam, Switzerland, and Korea.

During his time at G8A, Nicolas took on increasing responsibilities in design, project direction, project development, office management, and the coordination of complex international projects. He led large-scale architectural and urban projects, coordinated multidisciplinary teams and international consultants, and worked across a wide range of scales, from interior and spatial design to architecture, urban design, and master planning.

This experience gave him a broad understanding of complex project environments, combining design development with project organization, methodology, coordination, client relations, and the practical requirements of delivering projects across different cultural and professional contexts.

In 2020, Nicolas founded Multiply Office, an architecture and design practice working across architecture, urban design, spatial design, and research. The practice builds on his extensive experience in international project development while expanding into a broader and more exploratory approach to design.

Through Multiply Office, Nicolas continues to develop strategies across different scales and contexts, from individual spaces and objects to buildings, urban projects, and larger territorial strategies. Each project is approached as a specific condition, with design strategies developed in response to its context, program, users, cultural setting, and practical constraints.
