THE BERLIN BOX IS A “TECHNO” CLUB FOR ONESELF BUT NOT ONLY!

At a time where dancing in community is become a potential way to spread COVID-19, it’s important to keep electronic music alive as well as its spirit. The goal of the Berlin box is to offer music from the inside and being a symbol from the outside. The iconic structure becomes a source of inspiration and a social connection for all.

DANCING IN THE CITY

Music is something we like to share. The Berlin Box – made by a series of triangular windows – allows to the Techno lover to feel surrounded and connected inside the box to the people outside the box. From the outside the structure looks like a mirror, making difficult from the street to see what is going on in the inside. It allows to bring more intimacy to the user and to enjoy the music and feel completely free to follow the beat, almost invisible from the outside.

INSIDE /OUTSIDE

The Berlin box is very compact and easy to insert into the city. A steel hook located on the top of the roof makes easy the transportation by trucks. The sculptural aspect of the Techno booth turns it into an attractive platform for the techno and electronic music lovers but also for the pedestrians who are seduced by the game of reflection of themself and the surroundings. The Berlin box fits perfectly in any part of the city :along the long avenues or placed on plazas. The iconic shape makes it easily recognizable and helps to communicate. Its modular system makes it easily makeable and recyclable thanks to the selected materials.

A NEW CITY ICON

The Berlin Box becomes the symbol of the Techno Music on the streets of Berlin. It inserts in the city and start a dynamic dialog with its surrounding thanks to its reflective body. Between a monument and a sculpture, the installation suggests a strong and interesting interaction with the urban landscape and its inhabitants. The installation brings techno music close to everyone as a real cultural heritage part of the history of Berlin.

The Berlin Box is a reflective structure acting as a multi-facets mirror. The city and its activity are projected on the frontage which offers an interesting image of the area and new way to see the city.  The frontage of the Box becomes very attractive and extremely dynamic. The Berlin Box helps to rediscover each area through itself. On the evening, each frontage’s edge becomes illuminated and makes the structure even more attractive and dynamic.
